Sheila Kubota is the Clinical Director for the Reproductive Mental Health and Wellness team. She spent most of her clinical career in the field of Medical Social Work in both adult and pediatric hospital institutions in San Diego, California. In her work, she has walked alongside families during some of their most difficult trials of grief, loss, trauma, an unexpected illness, complex diagnoses, abuse, and the joys of healing successes.
Her own experiences with significant postpartum depression and anxiety have shaped her life and clinical work. She truly believes that therapy can be the vehicle that lifts you and moves your trajectory through and forward. She is thrilled to join the Reproductive Mental Health and Wellness team.
